Information about Continuing Education

P.A.C.E.® and Proof of Attendance for Other Professional Groups
Conference: G2 Intelligence Lab Institute 2017
P.A.C.E.®
For this conference, G2 Intelligence™ is a sponsor of Continuing Education Credits for the laboratory community through the ASCLS/P.A.C.E. program. P.A.C.E. contact hours are accepted by the State of California for lab personnel licensure, and also by the State of Florida.

The maximum number of P.A.C.E. Contact Hours available for this conference is 11.5. Additional hours are available for the completion of the optional Pre-Conference Workshop A (2.5) and/or Pre-Conference Workshop B (2.5). Grand total for the conference and pre-conference workshops is 16.5 hours.

G2 Intelligence™ is not authorized to give continuing education credits directly to participants to satisfy continuing education requirements for other professional associations or groups. However, we will help you document your attendance at this program, so that you can apply for continuing education consideration to these organizations. (See Page 2 for instructions.)

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT P.A.C.E. AND FULFILLMENT OF STATE LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS IN CA & FL
The P.A.C.E. program requires credit seekers to complete a packet of information at the conference (if you are seeking the maximum number of credits) and sign a roster as proof of your attendance. If you do not complete/turn in the P.A.C.E. packet and/or if you do not sign the roster before you leave the conference, you cannot receive P.A.C.E. continuing education recognition. Post conference requests via email, phone, or fax cannot be processed for P.A.C. E. certificates.

P.A.C.E. packets will be available at the registration desk the conference. Complete and turn in at the close of the conference. Rosters will also be available for signature at the registration desk on the last day of conference. If you are seeking Florida credit through the P.A.C.E. program, you must include your state license number next to your name on the roster. (To ensure that each packet is complete for each program and each person seeking credit signs the roster, we’ve found that setting up a single line for each program works the smoothest and the fastest.)

If you are leaving the conference early
If you are leaving before the end of the conference and want credit for the sessions you attended until that point, please stop at the registration desk to get and complete the packet of required forms and sign the roster before you leave.

How CE recognition is awarded: In order to receive continuing education recognition for any of the Pre-Conference Workshops, you must attend an entire Workshop. (Partial credit for workshops is not available.) Partial credit for the Conference is available, and awarded on a module basis, as designated in the P.A.C.E. Certificate of Attendance record you must complete for this program.

Continuing education recognition for P.A.C.E. Contact Hours will be processed, and you will receive back in the mail a signed Certificate of Attendance with sticker (P.A.C.E.) in approximately two to three weeks from G2 Intelligence™. Keep this document as proof of the hours you were awarded. Once issued, the roster with signatures will be forwarded to ASCLS, who will update their association records and provide the necessary paperwork/documentation to the States.

Physicians, Other Professional Groups, and Anyone Who Just Needs “Proof of Attendance”

G2 Intelligence™ is a sponsor of continuing education for the laboratory community for this conference through the ASCLS/P.A.C.E. program, which is accepted by the States of California and Florida to satisfy requirements for laboratory personnel licensure.

G2 Intelligence™ is not authorized to give continuing education credits to participants to satisfy continuing education requirements of other professional groups. However, we will help you document your attendance at this program, so you can apply for continuing education credit consideration to these organizations.

To get continuing education recognition for this program that will not be used to satisfy state laboratory licensure requirements and/or is not through the P.A.C.E. program, we recommend you do the following:
1. Complete the attached G2 Intelligence™ Verifi cation of Attendance form.
2. Bring it to the continuing education desk at the end of the conference for approval and signature.
3. Submit this form to the Agency/Association from whom you seek continuing education recognition, along with a copy of the program agenda and faculty from the conference program.
4. Learning Objectives are included on each session cover sheet in the program. If you prefer, there is “an overall learning objective” form that you may want to complete and include in your package.
5. Be sure to keep a copy of whatever you submit for credit consideration, as G2 Intelligence™ will not have any of these records.

Important note: Partial credit for this conference is awarded on a module, rather than session basis. The designated modules are noted on the G2 Intelligence™ Verifi cation of Attendance form. • Pre-Conference Workshop A- 2.5 hrs.
• Pre-Conference Workshop B – 2.5 hrs.
